Cratic remember me why we aint buying out Bryz this offseason?

next season he mkaes 10m and im sure the the owner would like to pay him to play
if they were to buy him out this off season they gotta pay like 2m til like 2024
but if they pay him the 10m to play n buy him out next off season its like 1m til 2018 or sumthin ... numbers are off but u get the idea
i think bryz wil lbe bought out but in the 2nd year ...however i see briere getting bought out this offseason..wouldnt mind seeing hartsy bought out either in a way

Buying out Briere would open some nice possibilities to improve on defense for the Flyers perhaps. Might be the best move to do.

yeah hes like 6.8 cap hit or sumthin and declined to waive his NTC
and the way he played this season hes not worth near that... + he wants to stay in philly maybe he will resign in a year for dirt cheap
his play has picked up since talks of him being bought out but he still cant score hes getting closer but normally those "closer" chaces would be goals 90% of the time
hes great in the playoffs too but after seeing him this year i wonder if he would even be able to step it up like he normally does

In my opinion, you guys have enough depth upfront to sacrifice Briere and give a shot at a good defenceman on the free agency market. Did not check who is available though. That might be the problem.

why does everybody think we need d so bad? if we didnt have injuries our d would have been fine .. we could maybe use another fairly quick 4-6 guy but imo we need more top 6 forwards
harts is to predictable and wont repeat last season jvr gone jagr gone briere gone.. those were a bunch of top 6 or even 9 forwards we lost and never really replaced

the only real top 6 forwards left would be voracek+giroux and harts if hes having a good year
guys like simmonds n shit are having career years in philly .. bump them up to the 2nd line and what do we got for the 3rd n 4th? we lose our depth
imo we need top 6 forwards and to ship out grossman and replace him with somebody quicker or even some of our ahl call ups/bubble d men like gervais foster manning laurisden ... there holding their own these past few weeks
