wow this team is hot garbage, 0 TRADES!!! Vegas had 10 lol, shows how much the GM's learned from the last draft. I feel like Kraken are gonna feel just as pressured to force a trade instead of the other way around lol

i think u still won with 11 correct LOL

Vegas is gonna have another easy season to make playoffs lol

Seriously, look at the pacific division....

Vegas will make it

Edmonton will probably make it cuz mcdavid, and rest of division is weak

Flames look like they should be in their primes and competing after all those signings, but they seemed to plateaued.. They lost Gio too.

Canucks got better upfront, but backend is questionable af

Kings and Ducks will be better eventually but still in the rebuilding phase

San Jose... Uhh

i wonder what their goal is i feel like its more a future oriented roster with young players that can develop into a nice middle aged core to build around
felt they coulda brought in some better players and tried to contend right away i think with the roster as is they are kind of borderline but who knows they got lots of cap to utilize in trades/fa still

i also shoulda just picked players i thought would be drafted cause the ones i got wrong fucked the ones i woulda had right trying to make an actual roster that was proper there was at least 5 guys picked that i was like thats a likely option but i need this position

i think they just dun fucked up, picking no name randos over decent players with decent contract etc.
how in the fuckkk did they skip over jake bean, he could've been their theodore!!! lol

their price was just way too high for GM's to pay for them to NOT take the player they want. Brad said Kraken's price for them to keep Gio was way too much lol. What i don't get is, they still drafted questionable players without any side deals. Why would they not wanna compete with Vegas rn?? the division is extremely weak, would've poured in a ton of money if it was basically Vegas and Kraken competing against each other the next few years. Instead... they're gonna go with rebuilding route. Their backend is no doubt solid, but they got 3 goalies with limited NHL experience and trash top 12 with Hakstol lul

I think Francis played the expansion OK considering how teams learned from the Knights' fleece-o-rama. They have 29M to play with, and only need to re-up Dunn and add two forwards for a full roster. The backend and netminding is pretty alright, although they hardly have top 6 forwards.

Some missed opportunities, though. Francis could've probably gotten picks out of the Isles and Bolts for choosing Eberle/Gourde respectively, or picked up guys like Domi or Bean who have trade value and have room to be big contributors.

We'll see what he does at the draft and first day of UFA, the strategy is clearly to leverage cap space. They will have more $$ to throw around than anyone else in a buyer's market.

Bean would be a good trade target for yzerman. I was wanting holland to trade for him a few years back when it became clear there was no room for him in carolina
