32 checking in.
Honestly I don't think I will ever fully grow up and I am fine with that.
Stable job, homeowner, financially responsible and all that boring stuff.
But....
At 32 I still like to spend the day walking around downtown crushing beers in broad daylight. It still often ends with me getting drunk shouting in the streets with pure joy.
I still smuggle mickeys into the bar. I guess that just became a habit when I did not have money and now it is something I have gotten so used to doing I cant stop.
I still eat all the junk food most people outgrow as an adult. My poor diet will catch up to me one day but to be honest I don't have dependents so if that day comes earlier than expected I won't complain about it.
I still ride the shopping cart down the ramp after doing my grocery shopping.
There are many more things I could mention. I am happy being an immature child in some aspects and I don't see that changing.
So long as you put a roof over your head and manage your business you can still act like a child without it ruining your life lol.
you should try weaning off junk food if it's a daily habit
used to drink a shitton of soda and was downing a solid liter per day, couldn't go a day without my stomach demanding the acidity and the sugar, and going to the store literally just to buy a coke. then I decided to swap soda with sparkling juice, and after a few weeks swapped to mineral water. now I can't stand to drink soda outside of a can after a meal here and there.
