The excuse a lot of people seem to have is “it’s playoff hockey, keep your head up”. This is nonsensical. I agree that hits like this is more likely because it’s the playoffs, but that doesn’t absolve Scheifele of wrong doing. A player having his head down or in a vulnerable position doesn’t mean you have the green light to try and take it off. The onus is on the player delivering the check to avoid head contact.

4 games may be to much based off past rulings, but anyone claiming it’s a clean hit has to come to grips with the fact that the sport has changed (for better or worse from the consumer standpoint)
This ruling will no doubt serve as a precedent for future suspensions.
