its just not fair to teams with depth like your forced to give up depth and replace it so some other team doesnt have to work for a team
teams go through rebuilds all the time and look at the sabers they have been for a decade your going to have an expansion team come in and be better then the sabers? how is that fair what so ever
why dont we just do expansion drafts every year to make the shitty gms and teams not shit its only fair just let them draft nhl palyers off teams with actual nhl rosters and make those teams fill out with lesser playesr evening the fied


and it prevents teams from making moves to try and win the cup... that should NEVER be a thing you want as many teams as possible contending not holding back cause of the expansion draft... thats how u know its broken
