if botterhill still got his job at the end of the year, im going to be amazed. The team got some big problems in the net, the skinner contract shackles them and eichel might ask to get traded soon

yea they cannot trade skinner, well none would take it anyway lol. eichel can ask for trade, but i dont believe they gonna trade him. They got dahlin so they can trade ristollinanen and get room to salary cap.

to move the contract of skinner it would cost them a real fortune, 8 years at 9m cap hit per year.
I dont understand why you would pay skinner that much, Duchene got paid less and he was more consitent. Skinner sucks in defensive plays and he had some terrible seasons in the past
yeah he had a 40 goals season that year but he was worth at best 7m per year. they overpaid him so much that they are stuck with him for the next few years and he already had a bunch of concussions in the past.

and if they buyout his contract
they got his cap hit until 2033-2034 season lol
