Its stupid to tank and thats my point, teams already have relatively terrible odds at 1st overall for finishing last, punishing them further for having a truely terrible season doesnt help the teams who need it most

indeed, the only thing i can understand is like ottawa did, get the most draft picks possible to build up a great prospect pool. If they draft well, their team will be pretty scary in 3-5 years.
I hate when teams keep their player till the free agent period and lose them for nothing, i prefer that they trade them for a return instead of staying put and believing to be able to resign them

Yeah definitely, but sometimes theres no takers. Last year we shouldve traded mike green but he got hurt and teams were scared off, the only offer i heard was like a 7th round pick for him which is outrageous. We'll probably get him traded this year for like a 3rd or 4th.
