The problem is what being a "total piece of shit" has changed.
That is why the line is not clear. The posts have been moved so far it is no longer clear.
If you take a job that is open to public scrutiny you have to walk on a tight rope every day. The code of "what is said in the room stays in the room" is gone.
One guy claims abuse and you could get shown the door. Decades of hockey culture and attitude are changing at the drop of a hat.
Right now I expect all coaches and management to be tight lipped; paralyzed as they try to find out were this line is. They are probably trying to figure out where criticism and abuse cross right now.
It used to be obvious. Now it is not in my opinion.
