Lol@drafting some finnish instead of a man

would go center over winger ( hughes also reminds me alot of a young patty kane whos given me nightmares for years), but thats also because up until this season, blues have always been super shallow at center

I don't think it is so clear.

Kappo is following a similiar path that Barkov did.

Obviously he turned out to be a phenomenal TWF and shootout entertainer.

barkov is a center though

hughes has the smarts but hes not got the body for the nhl he couldnt even do that much at WHC vs men pretty sure he even became their spare forward later in the tourney
im sure over time he can adjust and gets stronger and he becomes a great player but kakko seems ready to jump in your roster and produce instantly


id probably go with kakko tbh you know what you are getting and i like what ive seen and hes proven he can hold his own and play his game vs nhl opponents

Ya that is true. I guess it is quite a bit different based on position.

The path is similar still though. Playing top tier Finnish league, international experience and so forth.

This is why I prefer him as well. You draft a player who could probably crack the roster right away and make a difference. Hughes probably needs at least a year or two to bulk up and adapt his style.

But however Hughes has the "wow" factor. If he does bulk up and etc..... 🤷. I need to watch every tape on both before I made a decision if I'm the GM
