I am somewhat biased in my opinions, but they are just that... Opinions.

To me I think defensive ability should hold the greatest weight.

That is why I would hesitate to put Coffey even in the top 10.


I would much rather have guys like, Doug Harvey, Larry Robinson, Denis Potvin, Brian Leetch, Scott Stevens, and Chris Chelios over him. Among the extremely obvious others.


These players all had better defensive ability and put up respectable numbers as well.
