It's only 2 mil, what really fucks them is the 400 million white elephant that the city/province funded in its entirety.

it's funny because the threat of relocation for broke franchises like the Coyotes is real, but Bettman never has to actually authorize it. but it's great leverage to extract concessions from taxpayers to subsidize failing franchises, thanks to other taxpayers footing the bill elsewhere.

Yeah it's not sustainable in many places obviously, but then again neither is it in Quebec city.
