so they didnt patch shit from ROS into the game before ROS was out because it was supposed to be in the game originally?

I agree with some of this, the game was just a shell of what a pay to play RPG should be. To be brief my issues were: the story line was mediocre at best, the unique abilites for champ mobs were boring to downright broken, item progression was completely dumbed down, they released the game hell was extremely difficult then backpedaled and nerfed it all down and the RMAH which everyone said would fail, eventually did. Blizzard got greedy, didnt think about making a good game first, thought only about "how can we get the most $$$$ out of this?". Honestly after the nerfed Hell and I beat the game, there was no reason to bother to continue to play. Improving gear didnt seem like much of an incentive when you're farming for 1% drops of IK set or bust.


Sure, the games probably better now with 20 patches and an expac, but when I pay $60+ for a game, I dont expect a shell of a game.

EDIT: I didnt mention the lack of a PVP system at release. Like W T F.

yet your the one that claims to be the d3 know it all and cant remember they put in patches of ROS shit before ros was released to fix issues in the game

d2 those game fixing patches were free then they put out LOD which was an actual expansion
d3 they put content in the game took it out then wanted to sell us it then realized they fucked up gave us some free content then rushed out the expansions to fill the voids
both are playable after lots of patches and changes and what not but the route they took for d3 is the wrong way to go about it and i think they learned that

my point is people act like d2 released as a perfect game that was one of the best games ever made because changes were made by time they started playing...it wasnt it had changes and shit to get there
d3 they had to live through those changes and what not and it really changes the peoples opinion on the game because they didnt jump in on version .09 and skip all the BS they jumped into the BS at d3 release

What a huge letdown blizzcon this year is.

WC3 Remastered will be fun for the campaign but not $50 fun, doubt creators take the time to re do all those custom games that the OG will have. Only then would it be worth the price tag.

Classic should be interesting but that's not for another year almost.
