Could you explain how the odds would work with 16teams? If I put 100 on XXXX to win and I'm the only one to bet on the XXXX team , would I win the entire pot?
I could just be completely stoned right now. Please forgive if this is a dumb question.

Yes, It would be the amount of fg you put on x team vs. the amounts that are on every other team. ex. you bet on Capitals to win, its the amount on that team vs. every other team. only 1 team can win the cup... so theres no ties or such.

I may be over thinking this but couldn't you just put 5fg on every team and make profit if everyone else puts up way more?

nope. only way to make guaranteed profit is if u bet just 1 team.

only if an unlikely team hits

e/ for example someone puts 5fg on everyone, thats 80fg total,

If odds on top teams are like 1.5 they will only get back 7.5 fg

however if only they take flyers and flyers win they get the whole thing.

you can bet on everyone but its high risk low reward
