If the cop had reason to think the guy was dangerous, the first volley was a by-the-book discharge. You just can't tell, maybe it looked like the suspect was reaching for his own gun or something like that. The video is too low quality, too far away, and at a bad angle (the guy is mostly obscured when he's shot so you can't really see what he's doing directly prior).

If there was no supervisor and the guy is looking like he will come at the cops or shoot them, the first volley is by-the-book. Because would you rather have the cop try to disarm the guy hand to hand and risk having to tell his family their dad is dead because he totally thought he could take the kid with the knife

If after the first volley the guy looked like he was still reaching for his own gun, the second volley is fine..

I said "if" a lot because again you cannot tell from the information currently available. You should not default to "obvious excessive force" when you don't have the facts.

the "it could happen to you" argument is hilarious

who calls cops pussies and cusses at them and ignores order to drop your knife?

1 less retard out of 7 billion humans on 1 planet out of 8 planets in one star system out of 100 billion star systems.

igaf...

---

now if it was someone i know or was related to, i'd be very mad at both the way it was handled but more importantly that the victim didn't comply putting himself in a terrible situation.
i wouldnt forgive both the cop and the victim.

You mean the average beat cop isn't an emotionally dead fighting machine who is trained in Krav M'Ga (sp?) with no regard for his or her life?

a person holding a bus  of people hostage with a knife basicly loses all his rights because  hes breaking other peoples and putting them in danger
cops think safty first.. try to save some douche with a knife or a bus of innocent people? the innocent people are obviuosly more of a priority
shot 9 ttmies is a bit excessive but honestly.. who cares? the guy deserved it

the animal wouldnt purposely be holding innocent people hostage  tho... dumb comparison

i mean in reality if he woulda dropped the knife like they said too 100 times  none of this woulda happened in the first place.. only 1 person to blame  and its not the cop

The bus was completely empty... He had no hostages, that is one detail which is fact about that entire thing

either way
if he woulda just put the knife down everything would have been over he wouldnt have gotten shot
guys an idiot and i dont see the big deal in him being shot.. he had a knife on a public vehicle its not like he had a shoe in his hand
