It's a half season vs 10 other seasons, I think I'd take the gamble. Probably was just tired of doing all the work and wanted out and knew even if he did spectacular he would just get dealt.

yeah but he also still produced hlaf decently in the season
last season he couldnt even do that ... his playoff production is prob going to go down too... specially if he cant fuckin score

/e stamkos had a half-season slump too. Guess he should be traded/bought out and resigned for 2m/yr. Briere wasn't bought out because he doesn't have talent; he was bought out because his contract was bad.
