Hodgeson's back was misdiagnosed to begin with, so now that they apparently have it right, they're going to wait as long as it takes because of his potential. They'd rather have him waste a year now than have his career cut short by 10+ years.
Hope he gets better soon though. Would love to see him play.
Hodgsons injury isnt as bad as the media is making it out to be. Daniel Sedin had a similar injury a while back . He had it operated on over the Summer and didnt miss a game. Let's choose to be optimistic guys.
