I'm kinda glad they didnt bring him back. Iggy doesnt really have anywhere to play here (I'd rather have Ferland/Frolik ahead of him, so unless you bump Brower down) and it makes it a weird dynamic bringing back an ex-captain.

He'll retire here, too bad he's just jumping around bubble/non playoff teams.

I'm not too upset that he's not with Calgary, doesn't make sense for us. But I was hoping he'd go to a team that isn't gonna get steamrolled by Calgary en route to missing the playoffs.

Yeah I wish he'd end up with an actual contender. Boston/Pit had a shot when he was there, then he signed in Colorado which has been a dumpster fire.

I blame Tanguay for talking him into the Avs and leading down this path. Hall of Famer the day he retires, and now he's gonna bubble out and lose his number to a scrub.

And I thank him, cos I Remeber benning wanted him to play with the Sedins, but he chose avalanche instead. Then signed Vrbata and rekt that 1 year

I wonder where Lazar goes in the lineup. The guy needs to play every night so he can develop some confidence and hopefully his game along with it. Maybe Brower goes down a line and Lazar slots in with Versteeg/Bennet ?

Waiver eligible young rw, so he'll be playing here. I would guess on Bennett's wing as the Backlund and Monny lines are set in stone now. Fair value for him, maybe we can rebuild him after the Sens mismanagement.

It's a weak draft, a mid round second is a fine gamble on this guy imo.

Yeah I like the player and considering we got him for a 2nd I'm okay with it. Seems like he was rushed into the NHL too quickly, jumped directly from his last year of junior to NHL, would have been nice to give him some experience in the AHL.

He started this season in the AHL (he missed training camp), we made the mistake of calling him up. He needs to clear waivers to go back down so he got stuck being scratched most of the season

He has good work ethic, good attitude, and decent speed. Seems to me like his hockey IQ is that of a stump however

Started the year with mono, then got 8 mins of ice time a night. We'll fix him. T4t
