Game vs. Toews is the best player in the world:
- Had a pretty decent first period, came out with some energy. Felt like it all went downhill after that as the Hawks got their legs under them in the 2nd. We started trading chances and that's obviously not the way a team like the Canucks is going to beat a team like the Hawks. We had a handful of odd-man rushes throughout the game and most of them didn't even result in a shot on net. It was almost like the Phoenix game except we choked on most of our opportunities.
- Can't blame Luongo on any of the goals, IMO. Could he have made an amazing save on at least one of them? Yeah sure, but it doesn't really matter when we're playing as bad as we are. He could steal more games but it's not going to mask our weaknesses and it definitely won't get us through the playoffs.
- Edler was awful. I hate how they put him on the power-play over Garrison. I know Garr misses the net a lot but Edler is no threat whatsoever.
- Higgins, Richardson and Kesler could have had 2 goals each and Daniel could have setup 2. Lots of missed chances like I mentioned before.
- Kassian was much better, Booth was bad again, Toews is the best.

Minnesota has now passed us in the standings, pushing us down to the last playoff spot. If Phoenix wins their games in hand, they too would pass us, kicking us out of the playoff picture.
