Game vs. mid-80s Oilers:- Did not deserve to win this game at all. Both goals were lucky bounces and we gave up a ton of chances, including two 2-on-1s and a 2-on-0 in the first 10 minutes. Terrible passes, continuously out of position, missed assignments in front of the net. Couldn't generate much in the 3rd period when we were down a goal against possibly the worst defensive team in the league.
- Luongo was fine, not the issue at all. All 3 goals were off good chances right in front of the net.
- Same old same old from the powerplay.
- Schroeder was probably our best forward and that's excluding the two fortunate goals. Don't think any of them had an actual good game. Really not liking the line combos. Not understanding the thought process behind putting Richardson in between Daniel and Burrows. Then again, better line combos probably isn't going to help us score the way our forwards are playing.
- Kassian with 3 bad games in a row after being one of our better players for 2 or 3 weeks prior.
- Burrows is still struggling mightily... 0 goals and 3 assists for a total of 3 points in 22 games. I know it's tough to come back from injury twice but with the kind of ice-time he gets, 3 points in 22 games?
