Okay this might be confusing but I'm gonna try anyway:

I have a link to a certain web-page.

What I need to know is which forum post I got the link/page from (not jsp, different forum).

I can't just google the URL, because on the forum post, it was hotlinked, like this: here ... so google doesn't give me any matches.

Anyone know how I can figure this out?

i understand what youre asking but just wondering why you need to place where yo originally got it, im assuming there was other info there u need


but uhhh off the top of my head i cant think of a way to do it, because google picks up on the words i think and not the text in the hot link

I didn't think you could hot link like that to outside sites? It's never worked when I tried to do it for my sigs. Would have to know a bit more about where the link goes and what general context it's in.

Personally I would google as much context as you can remember.

Yeah, I need to find info on that forum post.

Would be nice if I could google for text in the hotlink lol.




The forum I'm talking about isn't JSP, you can have external hotlinks.

Unfortunately I don't remember what it was about at all. All I know is that I have this link and I know it's important
