Trouba has requested trade from Jets, will NOT be attending Jets camp.

Maybe we can swing something? Would be real nice addition, and assuming the asking price should not be too high.

Seeing as he requests trade and is refusing to join camp, they will be without him until they trade him..

No incentive to hold out for a really good offer if he's not even going to play for the Jets while they look for a trade.

Now that i think about it, not sure we have the cap space to do this, unless our trade offer is someone in the same price range.

Wings actually got in to offers with WPG this summer.
WPG asked for two significant forwards and picks from the wings perhaps more. That's likely based on the Hall Larsson deal.

Wings said no thanks.

I'd guess like Tatar and mantha or Something like that plus picks.

Yeah if they're asking for two higher end forwards, I would have to say no as well.. especially with how good Tatar looked at the WCH. If it's just one, tatar or nyquist and a lower end forward like jurco/pulkinen along with DK who is a younger defensemen on the left hand side who is locked up for 6 years, a prospect, and a draft pick.. something I would definitely take.. I like sadowy, mantha, oulette, and Svechnikov a lot, so feel we can make a good offer that gives a lot, but we still dont mortage our future to do it.

Just not tatar or DK, but i some what agree. Nyquist can go, hes fairly one dimentional, at least when compared to Tatar. I think if they gambled and did Nyquist, plus first round pick (and play their heart out and make the playoffs again, to minimize the potential damage of losing a high first rounder) then maybe add jurco or a similar lower end prospect as well. I wouldnt throw in Pulkinnen, i think he has the potential to be someone special in this league, if only he were played correctly, he needs to be a top 6 winger, not bottom 6.

I think if they were to shop pulkinnen they need to do it to teams who know the potential he has, a team that has watched him in over seas or in minors (where he was played correctly) with prospects or picks to spare, that way they will bring maximum return. Especially if the wings continue to not play him correctly.

I think the reason for not playong him correctly is the lack of room in the top 6, its pretty set in stone, and i dont think they can make room for him without an injury.

Yeah but with the market as it stands, there is a prememium on defensive talent. I think that adding a really quality defenseman that is only 22, shoots right handed would be great for what we need. Kronwall's best years were with stuart, who was a defensive defenseman, and I think Trouba could be the anchor he needs. If that means moving DK, i do it. I think Oulette can play, and we have an excess of left-handed defenseman.

I definitely like tatar over nyquist, but again if it means getting trouba i would send him.

I like pulkinen, but i don't think it's a matter of him being in the top 6.. if anyone should be in that role, i would put mantha or AA up over him. Pulkinnen lacks size, which isn't a huge set back, but with our roster it is. We have too many skaters like that, with only abby to create space effeciently.. I thought getting Ladd would be really beneficial, as we need some bigger bodies that also have skill to create space and also help generate chances. This is why i'd rather have mantha in the top 6.

AA has proven he can score, and generate chances with his incredible speed. So while i like pulkinnen, i think he's expendable because of the fact we have too many players like him in the lineup as it stands now.

Rip wings. No playoffs this year. Tatars wife though...
