When you add the prospects, I think they overpaid a lot. a first and second alone should have been enough for him. Hell, with how much they gave up they should have gotten Vanek

I agree. I would have been fine if they gave up the prospects and a 2nd, but that first rounder hurts... But ultimately we'll have to wait and see. Who knows, maybe we'll hear a lot about the Parise - Koivu - Pominville line.... or maybe not.
I was looking forward to see who the Wild would have drafted, but ultimately they have a good prospect pool. A seasoned scorer will help for sure. Let's just hope that he actually scores.
