Yup, the biggest weakness I see with the Flames right now is very inconsistent goaltending... Elliot was okay vs the Rangers but that weak 3rd goal is what cost them a point. Pretty disappointing. Not sure what we are going to do beyond this year for goalies, maybe some of the prospects get a shot but I'd rather see them leave young goalies in the AHL for a couple years to get used to the pace.

Also, gotta mention MARK FREAKING JANKOWSKI leading the Heat in points. #InFeasterWeTrust

Ya but the damn heat have lost 9 of 10, and freakin Agostino is leading that league. Aka the guy we traded Iggy for, and let walk last year. Flames do have some solid Goalie prospects for the first time in forever though, so Gillies or Ritich or whatever his name is. I think they resign whoever plays better down this stretch, so probably Elliot.

Bye weeks are stupid. Flames looked like a team that hadn't played in a week and lost the intensity in their game (Oilers looked the same way Saturday vs Chicago, dunno about any other teams bye weeks but yuck).

Need to be better, dont have many games to burn.

Flames destroyed them in the 1st, then folded and the Yotes got every single bounce. Plus they were all hungover, plus the Yotes just destroyed the cup champs the game earlier. That game sucked, but not the end of the world probably. That was also the series sweep game, so the Yotes were motivated I guess. Tonight should be a better test of where they're at.
