He submitted 10 teams to which he wouldn't want to go, and I hear Panthers are in the running of teams that are interested, so I guess FLA was not on that list.


Shame, that Spezza + Hemsky line was looking good to finish the season.

i wonder if spezza is indeed traded the team that gets him doesnt try to sign hemsky to a cheap deal aswell

also, spezza wont be traded to florida becuase he's overpriced for a rebuilding team and we're already stacked on center

he'll be traded to a contender at tdl for 1st++

i think spezza will be dealt at the draft tbh

There are rumors that Spezza is about to get traded every year though, doesn't mean it will happen.. I would actually be suprised if Spezza is traded, he's on an excellent contract with a cap hit of 7M but with a salary of 4M.. which is perfect for our cheap ass owner. Plus if we lose Spezza that means bye Hemsky, bye Ryan and gl trying to sign any good UFA.

if the sens trade spezza they better get a bunch of picks/prospects in return becasue there not going to be able to attract anybody else
players are leaving that team like crazy they couldnt even keep alfy ffs
atleast they got zibanejad hes prob not far out from a top 6 c and they stil lgot turris .. if they can get a prospect winger or d man+pick trade could work out in the end
if alfy walked i imagine spezza prob wont resign either trading him prob would be their best bet t omake sure they dont get nothing out of him
