if i wasnt literally addicted to watching blues games, id boycot the rest of the season.

just doesnt make sense to me. if they were gonna trade shattenkirk no matter what simply on the premise that "we cant let him walk for nothing", why did they not move him last offseason? the blues couldve gotten more teams involved on the offer and probably couldve gotten more nhl ready talent to help the current blues.

armstrong would only agree to a sign and trade as to get "full value", and when asked if the blues couldnt get enough back, armstrong said "well use shattenkirk as our own playoff rental then."

the whole world called his bluff after he overplayed his hand and now the blues have a late first in a weak draft included in the few magic beans that will probably amount to nothing.
