Not very good pictures but I was more worried about just enjoying the game than taking pictures. Was a lot of fun. Crowd was non-stop all game. Felt like playoffs. Everyone stood up for the entire shootout/ot

/e was sitting a few rows behind dis guy

Nice man! I'm jealous I haven't been to Vancouver since the 2011 cup run. Just haven't had much time to travel with work being so busy (mainly because of the new jobs & finishing school).

The game against Calgary was just ridiculous .. lol

Cool Farine :) Nice seats, jersey and pics. I'm going to the game against the Perds on Thursday. Will be my first one in 2 calendar years.

Game vs. Flamers:

Wasn't home when I watched so didn't get as close of a look as I usually would. Then again, analyzing this one in great detail maybe isn't necessary based on the circumstances (4 games in 6 nights, brawl, 4 D-men, etc.)

- Thought we were the better team most of the night. Would have been nice if Burrows and Booth could hit open nets and Hansen didn't bobble the puck on a 2-on-0 because I bet on the Canucks to win by 2+. It was the last game on my 6 game parlay and I had won the first 5

- The 4 defensemen did an admirable job playing literally every other shift. Hamhuis was out there for over 36 minutes and Weber over 28, which is more than double what he normally plays.

- Henrik is obviously banged up. He could barely skate, just became a liability on the ice. He didn't play much in the 2nd and Torts shut him down to start the 3rd. As for Daniel, I thought he had one of his better games in a while, although that isn't saying much when you look at who we were playing. Still, him not being totally useless is probably a good sign :P

- Great timing for Burrows to return, we really needed him. He looked decent considering how much time he missed.

- Luongo was very sharp, made a few huge saves and was great in the shootout. Amazing how he has shown no rust in both his games after returning from injury.

That was the first of a 5-game stretch against weaker opponents: CGY, EDM, NSH, PHX, EDM. We know Phoenix is a formidable team but it's a home game and they aren't exactly elite on paper.

Beating these teams doesn't really prove much when we get handled by all the teams that we would meet in the playoffs, but at this point we'll take the 2 points any way we can get them.

Full Injury Update

- Henrik: Torts said he was day-to-day. Personally I think he should sit out a few games but we'll see what happens.

- Booth: When he left the game in Phoenix it was speculated that he had a concussion but that wasn't the case, he played last game.

- Luongo: Back, played last game.

- Burrows: Back, played last game.

- Schroeder: 100% healed and practicing but needs to get back into shape. Assuming no more than a week.

- Santorelli: Arm was in a sling after the game in Phoenix and didn't play against Calgary, but no actual update.

- Stanton: Getting closer but no set date. I'll just guess 2 weeks.

- Alberts: Still out with a concussion, no update.

Torts suspended 15 days starting Sunday (yesterday). He will return to the team on Feb 3, the same day we visit the Red Wings.

Not sure if this is a big deal. Gulutzan and Sullivan both have NHL head-coaching experience and Torts will obviously be in the contact with them even though he isn't "allowed" to.

I assume Gulutzan assumes the role of head coach and Sullivan handles the D-men like usual.

Henrik's Iron-man streak ends at 679, he will not play tomorrow in Edmonton.
