His reputation is in part built on his xenophobia and hate for Quebec, everyone but the least witted knows that. But we also hoped he'd croak before he committed the billionth faux pas that would burst the dam. Now people have to face that a Canadian icon was pretty much a piece of shit on national TV for decades on end, and by Golly will they defend the innocence of their childhood and the wholesomeness of someone so famous even if there are countless records proving the contrary.
