Not gonna link our spreadsheet, but we had Ovi 1st pick when we found out we had it.

Next we had Giroux (missed so Eichel was next there) and one of Landeskog/Hall/Seguin whoever high pick.

Like most guys here we did major adjustments after this first "cycle". Had to really think about who we wanted vs who was the best best ranked available etc.

It's cool to see that other players had a draft board and really tried to be strategic. I don't feel so weird now 😅.

I changed it up this year though. I normally try to pack my roster full of certain types of players. But 5 years of that was enough. New strategy to see if I could make it work with different names

Damn that's a lot of dedication. I mostly just go with the flow and end up with whatever team I have

using excel and calculating the AVG +1 i would need to win every stat cat. later dividing it by roster size, with every pick the formulas change obv (adjusting to which stat cat. i need most/and the possible availability for each cat [for example hits and blocks are easier to get in late round picks as goals and PP are more difficult], its a huge macro.. making picks regarding projected stats/last season totals + homer/lucky picks

Okay this was our LW 1st selection pool. Did a lot of work on that sheet as always. It's almost automatic for us since we do one each year like this to talk drafts etc. We just love fantasy hockey.
The guy I'm playing with sees eye-to-eye with me on selections so ranking players is easy for us. Never points leagues for us anymore. It's not fun.
