The NYI Islanders traded Ryan Strome, Griffen Reinhardt and a third round pick for their entire second line (Beauvillier - Barzal - Eberle).

After a big win last night the Oilers find themselves 7th in the upside down standings, all the other teams have 2-4 games in hand however!

Only one on that line from oilers is eberle. Barzal was their own pick (14?) And beauvillier was chosen 28th. We dealt them 33rd pick

Barzal was picked with 16th pick , originally the penguins pick that oilers acquired along with klinkhammer for Perron. Which ofc we traded for Reinhart.

Beauvillier and the 28th pick have no ties to oilers,

The New York Islanders traded defenseman Griffin Reinhart to the Edmonton Oilers on Friday for the 16th and 33rd picks in the 2015 NHL Draft. The Islanders selected center Mathew Barzal from the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League with the No. 16 pick.

The Islanders, who were not scheduled to pick in the first or second rounds before making the trade, then sent the 33rd and 72nd picks to the Tampa Bay Lightning for the 28th choice.
