Yes but why this case? That's my point. They have been plenty of Aboriginal women being murdered, across Canada, why did this case spark a national issue when the others, even when in the media spotlight fail to ignite any public uproar. Coincidences don't exist and my theory has historical precedence. Pretty teenage girl gets hurt/murdered, people listen. Drug using prostitute gets murdered, nobody cares. Obviously Winnipeg has a problem, but it's had a problem long before this girl got killed.

I really hate when people say this. Every single woman who has ever had her picture posted on the internet and commented on has had someone say they are not pretty. I guarantee you have called a significantly uglier girl in real life pretty.
