Haven't strung together more than 1 win in a while huh. Ya I'd be excited too. Keep it in your pants though, you'll be bottom feeders again in a week. Oilers 2.0, see ya in 2027.

Treliving WAS bold on the goalie front. He dumped 3 goalies last year and brought two more. Elliot has a career of good numbers and he was had for a 2nd, and Johnson has turned out to be better than expected.

Both goalies' contracts are 1 year, and we have some solid g prospects. Needs a stop gap though.

Johnson was a good pickup as a backup but there's a reason why the Blues let Elliott go... he could never get the job done in the end.

Hitch also has a history of having goalies with good stats.

Well ya. The options were crazy expensive, like Bishop and Fleury, and Elliot was cheap with similar stats. The Flames apparently offered a huge amount for Andersen, but the Ducks refused to trade in the division. The Blues let Elliot walk because of Allen, but I think they're even regretting that now.

Wild were smart to save their #1 for the good Alberta team, but still got 5 past him. 3-0 sweep vs the West's best team, ez.

They're actually our most likely playoff series if we make it. And the Flames dominated them across 3 games, so yes please.

Plus Parise and Brodie have a good hatred going after Parise told the press Brodie was career minor league who's just getting his cup of coffee in nhl before he'll never be seen again. God what an unlikable guy that douche is. Oh ya, and Staal broke Johnny's fingers ffs.
