Unfortunately its part of the game. The blues had some bad breaks a few weeks ago, backes got called for goalie interference when he was crosschecked into a goalie so our goal was waved off, then the other team scored when their player took out Allen's legs, and it somehow wasn't overturned. Reaves was tossed with a game misconduct vs Chicago when he didn't even deserve a minor penalty, And the Nashville game was the most one sided game I've seen all season.
But then a week later it seemed we were getting all the calls in our favor.
Over the course of a season they tend to even out.
The NHL is just completely incompetent when it comes to this stuff, including reviewable plays which should be pretty consistent considering they are judged by the same people in the war room. It's quite embarrassing.
Earlier this year the Canucks scored a goal in New Jersey but it was disallowed because the goalie was interfered with. He was so out of position before the interference that he was never going to make the save anyway, but they still waived it off.
Later in Toronto, the Leafs scored on Miller in a similar fashion. He was so out of position and wasn't going to save it, but he was still interfered with, however it was called a good goal.
I believe both occurred on the same road-trip, the games were maybe a week a part. The circumstances were pretty much the same but opposite calls were made.
Looking back we got screwed but it really helped the tank
