As I stated, I don’t understand your picture. Give me a puckline you want, any puckline…I can post you a picture of that as well lol I can give you Calgary -3.5 and Colorado +3.5. You can pull any line you want up and screenshot it. On a Puckline bet, a generic puckline bet…the favorite is 100% of the time -1.5. Always. But sure post your picture, it legitimately doesn’t matter. You could pull up any puckline you want, does not change the point.
this is 100% untrue. In general games will have a 1.5 goal spread, however a 2.5 goal spread is not all that rare.
Unfortunately Lakeshow doesnt set the lines, the real sportsbooks do and they fluctuate based on any injuries and inactive players as well as the amount of money spent on either side.
A sportsbook may change the line if alot of bets were placed on one side, this is incentivize bets be placed on the opposite side so as to minimize any potential losses.
It is possible that when you checked the line it was -1.5 colorado, but if BetMGM wanted more people to bet on calgary they might shift the line the other way.
This is the risk you take when betting in a book that uses a closing line. This means whatever the line is at the start of the game is the line you get, not the line as it was at the time you placed the bet.
You were not scammed, you just lost the bet. Next time i would suggest placing bets as close to game start as possible (or at the very least check the line to ensure it has not shifted).
Additionally when you place your bet you can request the bet be voided if the line shifts, for example you could say: Flames PL (only if +1.5). This way, if the line shifts and closes at -1.5 then the bet will be voided.
