I despise Edler. Only reason he has ever looked good is when Ehrhoff could cover up all his defensive breakdowns.

Even if he was as bad as you think he is, he's still an upgrade on Stanton, Alberts, Weber and Corrado. We're not better without him lol

Trade edler in a heart beat.

Anyways, we need a PP QB.
I don't care if we have to shelter him as our 6th d man and play him 8 minutes a game.

It'd be nice to trade Edler for somebody would can QB a PP instead of just shoot bombs at peoples shins

I really do not think Ott is what we need....

I don't want to bash on the Sedins but they have to be better.

Daniel Is on pace for ~ 25 goals this year.

They're numbers are slipping every year and it appears they can not produce in physically intense games. But they are not the only ones struggling.

Burrows is hurt, but in 17 games he has not scored a goal. How has this happened? The guys we used to rely on are not getting it done.

Our PP is just terrible. Garrison shows flashes of offensive dominance on the PP but then fades away. All or nothing with this guy.

No consistency. Eddie Lack is playing great and we keep throwing winnable games. Frustrates me. Not sure how Ott would help us score goals.... Agree we need a PP QB.

This game showed that despite showing a willingness to play physical, we can not score in a playoff like game. Not a good sign. Things need to change.

All good points.

Ott would be a fine addition but it doesn't address our needs. We just don't have the horses offensively to get the job done. It's been apparent since the Boston series almost 3.5 years ago but nothing has been done to fix it.

The type of players we need aren't easily obtained, you either have to massively overpay or rent them and who knows if they'll be able to mesh going into the playoffs.
