Easy to say, but the truth is that short of a Herculean effort to track down those responsible that's just not possible. And no, 4chan hackers aren't the ones behind IPsec or encryption - which highlights how easy it is for moderately intelligent hackers to cover their asses from the best internet security measures.

At the end of the day, the best way from keeping information from being leaked is exercising restraint in what sort of thing you publish and where/how you choose to do it.

theres always a 3rd party with technology and theres always a security risk with that to use technology and say " oh itll never happen" and feel safe with it is a fools thing to do

This was a targeted and malicious theft of property, an invasion of privacy, and just because it's a reality that people do this stuff it doesn't make them any less of scum or any less criminal.

I have a reasonable expectation that if I've encrypted a drive and it has a 15 character password with letters, numbers, case sensitivity, symbols, and some foreign characters, it's a clear sign that it's my property and no one should have it without my permission.

It's the cyber bullying argument. People view "hacking" in a different vein from theft because it's anonymous, so they're more willing to do it with less guilt. It's a crime.

oh no doubt its wrong they did it but at the same time i kinda laugh at the belief that anything is safe with technology ..i mean vanessa hudgens has been hacked before and yet she still does it
other celebs see other celebs get hacked yet they still take the pics and stuff and upload them to icloud ... they could use a camera put it on a pc not connected to the net and shits safe as can be from hackers
