I've been thinking of buying a portable laptop that I can game on, any suggestions?

I'm willing to spend a good amount if it's worth it

msi has some pretty good lightweight gaming laptops, they are definitely pricey.
razer blade is always a solid option too, but they will be top end pricing + razer tax.
asus rog zephyrus are pretty nice, a little bigger than the blade, but will cost less.

outside of those, the dell g-series are decent as well and will cost signifcantly less, but a bit bigger than the others, not by much though.

Personally i would find one from MSI, or asus zephyrus.

they do for sure, i havent personally had one, i was super close to getting one for my wife until she saw the price lol she ended up going with a dell g7.

but it does feel pretty solid build quality wise, and hardware is hardware.
since i havent owned one i cant speak to the cooling situation, thin and lights often either run really hot, or throttle their processor speed to not run so hot.
its all going to come down to features most likely, the zephyrus is going to have full backlit rgb keyboard, and all those sorts of fun things, a dell wont (unless you go alienware).
Alienware does have a thin and light 15" too, but again, like razer you're going to pay extra just cuz, and have limited upgrade options.

I bought a ASUS for like 2500$ few years back. Still runs like a beauty.
No issues ever.
That being said. If I was in the market for something new I’d go with Msi without a doubt. With a mechanical keyboard.

shit you guys reminded me I need to be ready for Cyberpunk 2077...

think buying a laptop to handle that beast would cost too much so I'll just upgrade my video card. what would be good enough to handle the job?
