The AG is a Cabinet member, and Cabinet members literally can't be arms-length and apolitical as elective representatives and party members - the whole point for them is to be in line with the party's agenda. If the Liberals wanted Jody to treat SNC-Lavalin nicer but within the confines of the law, it's sleazy but hardly exceptional unless it can be proven the company actively greased Cabinet hands to pressure her. That Trudeau cared more about Quebec seats than making an example out of a megacorp isn't criminal or abnormal behavior. You think everything from the BC NDP forcing contractors to be unionized to the Harper administration not giving a flying fuck about people being murdered around Canadian mines doesn't involve similar pressures? The only difference here is that Jody wasn't whipped like your typical Cabinet member and held her job role in higher esteem than her standing within the party (also a brutally ironic result of Trudeau having a gender and ethnically balanced Cabinet - meant he had to appoint less loyal people).

Resigning at this point would be jumping the gun. A public investigation should be done into the accusations. If what Wilson-Raybould claims is true yes he should resign.

Her allegations are more than just doing a bad thing, it’s illegal and our government cannot be above / one with the law when convenient for their parties interest.

It’s time Trudeau holds himself to his own standards.

Nah, im in northern california, it actually snowed a bit the last storm two weeks ago, but snow where im at is rare. (Miss the snow i had growing up in michigan for sure)

But yeah, its literally called river road lmao, and now it is a river and there might be a road somewhere down there too
