I never understood why it's so hard to spell 'Phoenix' right. I mean there's no 'pheo' sound in 'Phoenix' like there is 'theo' in 'Theodore' for example. And why is it always 'Pheonix' but never 'Pheobe'? Can someone solve this mystery?

Basically any time you've written down your name, address, email address,  phone number, date of birth, etc, it goes into a database tied to you.

My uncle who was a very experiences and licensed sailing captain. He ran a company taking tourists out on his sailboat and showing them bermuda.

He was out on his boat at these islands that he loves with friends drinking. Some of the story remains a mystery as the investigation is still underway but he dove into the water to un lodge the anchor which had been stuck on something.

He surfaced unconscious and the passengers on board failed to get him out of the water and administer cpr in time to save his life.

EVERYONE should know cpr and you should not hesitate, there is no time for "omg what do we do" i

I dont know the full story but the morale is no matter how experienced you are at something alcohol can impair that skill. And even the most experienced person at anything can make a mistake when drunk.

Do not drive drunk, do not pilot a boat drunk and do not lack the balls to act.

7 people watched my uncle drown to death last night in a completely avoidable incident.  He was considered one of the most experienced sailors in bermuda.

Im not saying tonight have fun, i had drinks with him on the boat 1000 times. But piloting at night and intoxicated is a recipe for eventual disaster.

But most importantly, KKNOW CPR and dont be a fucking pussy. It breaks my fucking heart that if someone had there shit a little more together i might still  have an uncle.

I did drive a boat while being....pretty fucking drunk, I couldn't go straight but I wasn't going any fast and wouldn't dive while drunk(drunk and swimming = drowing which is the reason I allway have my safety jacket on while I drink on a boat)
actually my Anchor got stuck, twice about a month ago while I was buttfuck in the wood and we were in a thunderstrom with huge wave and we were on a real small boat, I wouldn't have dived even tho the Anchor was only 6-7 feet deep, I'd cut the rope 100 times before diving, unless we're 2 going, even then...
