Pretty much called Vanacek soft for leaving the game with what appeared to be a muscle injury.

Said he should only be leaving a playoff game if it was a serious structural injury, especially because it puts his very old backup goalie (Anderson) in a difficult position.

Not sure what's more ridiculous - commenting in such a way about a player's injury without really having details or claiming that it's unfair to his backup just because he's older... like he's a pro athlete getting paid big bucks and he knows his role. If he wasn't fit to play that role he should retire. And of course, he comes in and the Caps win and it just makes Hrudey look even dumber.

and why would a goalie not leave with a muscle injury risk making it worse when he might be good to go next game+
and stay in to risk fucking up not making a savable save due to the injury and putting the team down .... zero sense to stay lol
