I don't even wanna trade Shatty as it goes.

Guy might not be the best defensive defenseman, but someone who manages the powerplay the way he does is valuable.

But the part of Shatty that I think goes unnoticed is how well he interacts with the rest of the team. Everyone seems like they're Shatty's best friend and he just gets along with everyone.

the only way i think we can trade him (assuming we dont tank the next few weeks) is for a top 6 center upgrade.


anything else directly hurts us this year and just isnt worth it. i wish there was a way we could re-sign him, but i know it just wouldnt make sense for us to do so, not to mention wrapping up another 7k in a defenseman would be silly.
