Game vs. Bloos:- STL owned virtually all of the first 40 minutes other than the 5 minutes to start the 2nd period. We weren't bombarded with scoring chances or anything but they definitely controlled the play, especially along the boards. Overall I thought the Blues deserved to win as they created more quality scoring chances, they just couldn't finish. Not complaining, though... we'll take this win any way we can get it. We aren't there yet, but including the PIT game, that's 2 steps in the right direction.
- Lack was extremely solid. It helped that the Blues sort of choked on some of their better chances (shots into Eddie's logo), but you can't take anything away from Lack.
- Feels like I say the same thing about the D-men every time: Hamhuis played half the game but also made a handful of bonehead plays, Tanev was solid as always and I wish Corrado got more ice-time.

Also, it might be time to put Weber on the left point on the 1st PP unit for a few games and see if anything clicks.
- Dalpe took Santorelli's spot with the Sedins midway through the 1st period and Santa was demoted to the 4th line. I thought Dalpe did a pretty good job in his new, surprising role but I doubt it's anything long-term. I actually really like him, I think there's potential there, but I don't know if there's space on our roster. He's been okay on the 4th line but he's not really cut out for that role. Maybe he'll get a chance at 3rd line center if Schroeder doesn't work out or keeps getting injured.

Really thought at least one of Edler or Burrows would be back for this game. Apparently they are "close", though, so I'm guessing no more than a week. No recent update on Schroeder and Torts said Alberts won't be available for a while.

Another tough 3-games-in-4-nights Pacific Division road-trip coming up. Monday in LA, Wednesday in ANA and Thursday in PHX. Include the home game against Calgary on Saturday and that's 4 games in 6 nights.
