Ugh. I had the perfect consistency on this hot sauce when it was just peppers. Then I added the cucumber and eggplant in, fuckin thing is chunky now. Even thinned it with vinegar and red wine. Currently on a blending marathon but I don't want to be making this much noise past 9pm

Tried straining it but that took a lot of the flavor out. Guess I'll just have to serve it chunky if this doesn't work. Shit tastes amazing. Gonna have to go buy some lamb to marinate in it.

So I was talking about seasonings with a friend of mine and how salt brings out flavor in meals. Now I know KoJ puts pepper on cantaloupe, but my friend was telling me how apparently cracked pepper on strawberries is really good.

make as much noise as you like after 9, whats 9pm even pfft I say its only disrespectful to be loud past like midnight, and even then blending? its not like EDM music is at full blasts with people trying to talk over it.

Cracked pepper or crushed red peppers? I have strawberries and both of these seasonings and can test this.



My neighbors have a 6 month old :\ 9 is probably pushing it. The walls are made of concrete but I went into my bedroom to see how bad the sound was and it would definitely be annoying.

ehhh well thats a bit different but still, you should be able to use your appliances uncensored in your home at almost any hour, it's 2 minutes, a loud tv or radio is much worse

You've clearly never made hot sauce from raw vegetables before to get the consistency I want is an hour of straight blending. Maybe if my food processor were $200 more expensive it'd be shorter

lol i can safely say i nave never made my own hot sauce but still holy fuck 1 hour is alot of blending

Throw a towel over it to dampen the sounds and hope the motor doesnt blow
