The perks of doing work meant for someone 3 pay grades above me - by nature of getting the shit done I automatically qualify for exceeds. Also means they take my suggestions more seriously so I can contribute above and beyond even at the executive director level. And i do it all while taking every second friday off and teleworking every monday. Love my job.

Which advanced stats You can pick 500 different combinations of "advanced stats" and come up with 500 different #1 players.
Even using stats it's still very subjective as to which of them are most important.

partly this. Also, is it even strength? and does that mean 5v5 AND 4v4? Did they count days leading up to an injury and days coming off of an injury equally to 100% healthy games? I have a bit of an issue with the fact that sportsnet and tsn are gonna start having advanced stat segments cuz they're gonna throw out numbers with no context or qualifying information.

And since it's "advanced statistics" they're going to portray it as fact rather than opinion. The numbers are fact, but which numbers are important and the conclusions are not.
