Drais, and mcdavid aren't the issue, they're literally the team. Remember the last Canuck game when they both got sent to the penalty box? And ppl said Woah never seen an entire team in the penalty box before :rofl:

Toews and Kane won cups already, so then they chose to cash in the next contract with 10.5m avv.

If mcdavid and drais can't win in the next 2-3yrs when their contract is up they're basically doing the opposite of what Toews and Kane did. They'll have to choose money or take a discount and hope they have a chance to win, and cry some more with all the money they left on the table, if they never win.

No doubt Mcdavid and Draisaitl are worth it. Draisaitl contract is an absolute bargain. That is on a very short list of good things Chirelli did lol.....

Draisaitl is due for a considerable raise soon and I am very curious how much he ends up getting. The Oilers can't lose him so I imagine it's pretty much a hostage situation and they give him what he asks lol.
