yeah you're getting a new CPU, Mobo, Ram which is basically a whole different computer.
but in his case, he was trying to get 750ti for his old CPU/mobo which has ddr2 memory, that'll bottleneck and isn't putting that $200 to a good use.

which build did you end up going?

8320 or g3258?

if your PC is using ddr2 ram still, it's time for an upgrade lol
the 750ti may bottleneck, so you won't be getting full performance from it.

you can make a decent computer for around $500-600 which will be 999999999999x99999999999 better than what you got now

yeah, make sure there tiny "arrow" on 1 corner of the CPU matches the mobo slot

yep, it's super simple. Just need patience and manage your cables because it matters
but if you really need a guide for it, here's a GG one

it may bottleneck i think i got pci 2.o its prob 3.0 but meh it would still outperform my 550ti by far which is good enough for me my 550 still palys new games on low med-high is good for me
as for an upgrade...put it this way the guy i bought this shit from was only going to upgrade to high end stuff becasue the stuff out wasnt worth the $$ to upgrade to so he spent $1500 on a cpu ram mb and vid card fro his upgrade... i dont got that kinda to spend on pc shit
just looked it up on a site they compare to to an i7 3770k its get a 7.4 vs a 9 for that and the 3770k is $325 at my local store for 3.4 ghz i can overclock to that or atleast 3.2 iirc why spend the $300?
also the i7 has an 8mb cache my current has a 12mb

I7 doesn't do much for gaming anyway, the i5 is much better for the money for gaming. I7 is usually for people who tend to stream/make vids/render make profits etc. For it to be worth the extra cost Ur paying for. I5 can still do exactly that too, it'll just be slightly slower.
Don't buy from local stores or prebuilt computers, cos Ur paying about 200-300 extra, and they usually put in unreliable parts in the build. That 3770k is overpriced, cos the 5th Gen intel will be out by this month, the 4th Gen are already marking down their price slightly.
And ya Ur friend spent too much for those 4 things lol, 1500 build can get you an entire tower +more with 780ti or 290x/295
Can I see what Ur computer specs are? With speccy screenshot?
If you got around 600, u can get a gg build for games like poe/league/diablo, lmk if u need a build or go to the computer build section for help
