Anyone think it's worth getting excess wear & tear protection plan for $1600 in Vancouver for 39month lease? (adds like $40/mo)
Ive google for opinions and its pretty much ymmv but I still want more opinions. A lot of shitty drivers here, mostly concerned about having to replace tires at lease end, and minor dents caused by assholes in parking lots with their door. I asked the representative if I should get it, and she pretty much told me that I shouldn't lol

"Excess Wear & Use Protection Plan applies to Genesis Finance closed-end leases on Genesis new vehicles and untitled demonstrators with 24,000 or fewer kilometres. It waives costs for qualifying damages up to $7,500 at lease end. With this protection, customers are generally not faced with surprise charges for excess wear and use at the end of lease."

Nvm im drunk

How much mileage you do per year?

Under the canadian law, they cant charge you for normal wear which include mild dent, scratch etc
For the tire they have to be atleast 4/32 when you bring it back

Subaru master race. I chase snowstorms for the powder days, and my subbie is a winter tank.

Actually almost got taken off the road by some idiot on Thursday. 45cm at Lake Louise overnight, I’m out there just west of Banff and a guy goes to pass me in the UNplowed passing lane and pulls a full 360 at 90km and flies into the ditch, almost t-boning me on the way. I had to fully dodge him twice so he wouldn’t take me with him, was nuts. Up the median divider, 90 degrees across traffic right into the ditch and up the park fencing, missed me by about 5 feet both times. RIP. Subaru master race.

Purolator trolled me pretty hard.. Idk why amazon would use them.
Didn't leave me slipping package or anything, only called me to say it's ready for pick up at their mobile quick stop truck.
They briefly said it's by a mall parking lot, and it's hard to miss... So I was looking around for 15minutes, and eventually called Purolator to ask wtf this truck is. She isn't from the area since Purolator is big, and just told me it's between a skytrain station and the mall etc. I gave up and found some old article that mentions it's open from 3pm to 8pm....... It was 1pm

I dunno if any of the package carriers are any better than the others.

When I broke my collar bone, I went to pick up my Xbone from UPS... only to find out their package pickup store was open 8am - 10 am then 1 PM - 5 PM... I was there at 10:30 ._.

i like canadapost best, they just leave a packing slip if i missed it at the door. Then pick it up at the specific address located with decent hours to pick it up.

to halifax ..........WWWWTTTFFF

I live on the south shore of montreal

there was no reason to send it to mtl to begin with

and then my package being in halifax is just BS
fuck off

and most of the time they leave that stupid note they will not even call you or knock on the door before
like..I'm supose to guess when they are there
/hate it

intelcom is also terrible
leaving 150-200$ package right in front of my door where everyone can see it
