"a better car", but it is? I mean, everyone say that Hyundai improved in build quality so much that is now comparable to other mainstream brand.

Need to buy get the new car in like 2 week xD stressfull and so many decisions

everyone says they've improved

meaning they needed to improve just to be comparable, other brands don't need to improve they just build quality products and dont scan their customers

like subbad said subaru holds value longer especially in Canada

In 5 or 10 years, the resell value will probably be dead anyway because of electric car.

I'm planning to keep my car longterm.

Well whether you have plans or not things can change.

Figure out what is the most important characteristic of your purchase and make a list of 9 more things that you are looking for in order of most important, if one car checks more boxes higher up on the list go with it

They're both basically the same car, both marketed to soccer moms and metrosexuals, only difference you've noted thus far is price, which if you are price shopping should be the difference maker

anyways, Have fun buying your new car

Some other brands aren't improving, they're actually doing the opposite. Subaru is one of them, their reliability is pure shit compared to the past. Btwn the 2 cars definitely go with Tucson. Why? Cuz u get better warranty and less problems, and hyundai dealers are ez pz to haggle. Great point a to b cars. Also don't worry about "not holding value" compared to the crosstrek, literally talking like 2k difference. No one is gonna purchase either car used, and if they do they'll most likely purchase the 99999 Tucson for cheaper than limited crosstrek for 2k more. We ain't talking toyota tier holding value.

Check out cx5 tho like someone else mentioned.

Hyundai Tucson 2019 or Subaru Crosstrek 2019?

Tucson is like 2,500$ CAD less than the Crosstrek and it's bigger. Am I missing something or?

e: Both are AWD and CVT

Heard the 2019 Subaru Forester is beating out all the suvs for this year.

Subaru has the same drivetrain since the early 00’s and its as been proven already, hyundai keep “improving” because they cant put a reliable car on the road

Anyways what do i know lol just dont get a tucson with the turbo engine youll regret it

Have you tried the tiguan? Its the same price as the subaru iirc and its massive

Anyone think it's worth getting excess wear & tear protection plan for $1600 in Vancouver for 39month lease? (adds like $40/mo)
Ive google for opinions and its pretty much ymmv but I still want more opinions. A lot of shitty drivers here, mostly concerned about having to replace tires at lease end, and minor dents caused by assholes in parking lots with their door. I asked the representative if I should get it, and she pretty much told me that I shouldn't lol

"Excess Wear & Use Protection Plan applies to Genesis Finance closed-end leases on Genesis new vehicles and untitled demonstrators with 24,000 or fewer kilometres. It waives costs for qualifying damages up to $7,500 at lease end. With this protection, customers are generally not faced with surprise charges for excess wear and use at the end of lease."
