I just have very good trap insertions. I don't even work them directly.

@sub, I squat 245 for 5+ reps quite easily , and when I was bulked did 275ish. My goal for this year is to hit a 3 plate squat and 2 plate bench.

Why would you be lifting light? It's proven you should be lifting heavy and less than 8 reps on a cut.

You trolling me? Isnt that how you bulk
Light weight many reps. Keeps heart rate in the 100-130 zone. And build lil bit of muscle. So as I'm starting to drop weight, I don't have the saggy loose skin.....this is what I've been told anyway, October was when I'm going to start maxing out each exercise.

Also, I'm not looking to turn the fat strictly into muscle at the moment. Would be pointless for this 'challange' right?

Lifting light vs heavy depending on cut vs bulk is a myth. You want your heart rate up, do cardio. Lifting is meant to tear the muscle so that it can be rebuilt stronger.

100-130 is fat burn zone. Any higher is cardio training. Which I don't need/want.

You're not strength training if you lift with the sole purpose of raising your heart rate. If that's your goal, great, but that's not really "lifting." And you should be doing some strength training while cutting because if you don't engage your muscles, you lose muscle mass along with fat.
That's like saying running is doing rapid lunges at low weight.
