I won because the hack owners before me did a hack job building the steps of the structure. And didn't pull a permit for it.
City comes out and says stairs are not legit. And had to be rebuilt. Cost 1500$

When I spoke to the lawyers. They said the onus is on the ppl who sold the house to me to fix it. And that it was our realtors fault for not noticing there was no permit.


I didn't pay a dime. It's the same as them trying to hide things without fixing it.
