Nucks - pretty self explanatory, by far most successful Canadian team in the last 5 years
Sens - finished 7th place because of key injuries, they were a lot better than their playoff seed indicated

Habs - overachieved for 2nd seed. Their team isn't that impressive. They were raped by the Sens. Claim hot goalie all you want, Sens as a team played better too.

and you think that anderson & friends didn't overachieve? .941 for a goaltender is absolutely not overachieving when your career high is .91x over a full season

nucks havent improved for the last few years

price had a bad year and can only improve. they also had a full year of markov, it's not overachieving when one of the best, if not THE best, PPQB:s in the league stay healthy when you got a godlike triggerman in PK

anderson posted .941 because karlsson was injured, when he sits at .91x next year when karlsson is back, people will find another excuse for sens>habs

sens might have the edge in coaching, but nothing else

Hockey year book has us winning the Stanley Cup this year, so we're not only the best Canadian team but also the best team in the NHL.

Hockey year book say that, so you can't argue.

This series does mean something, it provides us with solid ground that can be used to argue that the Sens are the better team. Making empty claims such as "Anderson will be bad when Karlsson is back" and "Price can only get better" are both just speculation and provide no real points.

Fact is, Sens beat the Habs 4-1 in a playoff series, bringing up Florida is totally irrelevent

Some stats from 2 years ago aren't really current as both teams have changed a lot, the most updated evidence needs to be used to determine the better team as of right now

Can't beat cold hard facts.

As of this point, Sens > Habs

I do believe that we are the better team, based on recent pickups and returning players. Beating the Habs (who have made no significant improvements this summer, aside from MAYBE Briere) last playoffs while our #1 centre didn't even play, and our #1 D was at maybe 50% health is good enough for me B)
